This tour with their wonderfully knowledgeable tour director & driver allow you the insight & experience to enrich your life with not only great cuisine but a a variety of high standard & local hotels and lodges but breath taking views of rugged but very beautiful terrain & coastline. We had the most entertaining & informative guides giving us a fun view of the hidden history of this magnificent place. This is our first tour my husband & I have ever done. We had no idea what to expect and knew little of Nova Scotia. The people on our tour just made it. We had so much fun that the "Travelling Globus Choir " was formed, Thanks to our tour director Liz Brenton who will be well remembered."Danny Boy" will be very much remembered by us all! "

It was a fantastic vacation; however, it proved to be extra special as I met a wonderful man from Brisbane, Australia who was traveling on the tour as well. After a fantastic holiday, it was a tearful goodbye in Paris as I departed to return to Canada and he had a few days left in Paris before flying to Dubai and then home to Brisbane.
We were in contact as soon as I returned home... I am excited to share that on April 29, 2008 when we were visiting the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Darryl proposed and I "said yes"! We are to be married this August.
If neither Darryl nor I would have made the trip we would never have met! I think the structure of the tour and the various social gatherings contribute to everyone mixing and mingling whether you are single or a pair and we have certainly recommended your Tour Company to various friends and family who become aware of how we met.
Both of us want to say "Thank You".. Without Globus we would never have met. "

Travelling from lovely Seattle to beautiful San Francisco on the Pacific Coast Adventure tour we saw spectacular scenery every day - awesome Multnomah Falls, the rugged dramatic Oregon coastline, majestic ancient Redwood Forests and the very picturesque wine growing area of the Napa Valley to name a few. The tour had a very relaxed pace and fun atmosphere with plenty of time to spend at all the wonderful included visits and various stops. All accommodation and included meals were excellent. Special praise must go to our superb tour director, Linda Perez, whose knowledge, organizational skills and fun outlook allowed her to succeed in her goal to make sure everyone had a fantastic vacation. We had a great time touring this beautiful section of USA's North West which I think is often overlooked by Australians when they are planning a visit to USA.
Already planning our next trip with Globus!!

Antonio driving and Brane to guide us
Husbands and wives, friends and sisters
A couple of families - we all got blisters
As we walked up this street and then down that alley
Strangers at first but we all bcame pally
From all walks of life we came to enjoy
The sights and the sounds and all that hoi palloi
Chopin & Mozart highlights for a few
A couple of cruises on rivers not blue
Polkas & dancing enjoyed by us all
At the end of the nights we were all walking tall
Brane's great knowledge of history galore
Fascinating, enriching - left me wanting more
From early centuries to the modern day
Nothing was spared in his own special way
So my dear friends I have come to the end of this ditty
We have finally arrived at our final city
Farewell our new friends we have all had a ball
And remember - somewhere on your travels you may hear a call of
AUSSIE! AUSSIE! AUSIE!
OI! OI! OI!
I penned this limerick for our final dinner and read it out to the assembled group to express my feelings about a wonderful tour just experienced.
The Globus organisation and their representatives must be congratulated and I will now have to save up for my next adventure. "

I accidently left some clothes behind in Salzburg and Willy calmly organised for them to be forwared onto Paris for me.The hotels were of a very high standard and staff very helpful. My sister and I would recommend Globus to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and great memories. "

When my travel agent suggested we do a Globus Tour I had my doubts. Being an American and having travelled on our own in almost all 50 United States, why would I want to sit on a bus throughout Great Britain? Well, I can''t thank Globus enough for one of the most memorable holidays we have ever taken. From day one of meeting our director, driver, and group we never had to worry about even the most minute detail. The brochure description of what we could expect from our Tour was absolutely spot on. The knowledge, cleanliness, value for money, just everything was better than any plans we could have tried to do on our own.
We''ve been saving and 2008 will see us scheduling a tour of Ireland, Europe, and the Adriatic coast. Oh, there is no other choice as far as we''re concerned - Globus will always be our Number 1 choice. Happy travels. "
R Brukwinski, WA - " We recently returned home in Sydney after completing our Europe Tour (code: HA 710 - The Popular) from 10 - 23 July 2007. We had a wonderful holiday.
- We were very impressed with the Globus tour company in their excellent organisation and exteremely good planning of all 14 days on the road. I will do it all over again if I have a choice and I will not have any hesitation in recommending Globus to my friends and colleagues.
- Our Tour Director (Herbert) had a thorough knowledge of the places of interest we visited and had an excellent communication skills. Our Coach Driver (Frank) had good knowledge of the roads we travelled and he has driven our bus very safely. Herbert and Frank worked together as a team to ensure that our baggage arrived at our hotel rooms on time and the hotel rooms are assigned to us before our arrival at each hotel. For us, it was important that my family of four had adjacent hotel rooms for convenience and we never had any problems.
- We were very impressed by the planning by Globus to ensure that we did not had to wait in the very long queues at the popular attractions. The maximum wait time we had was 10 -15 mins. We did not encounter a single issue for 14 days.
- We were very lucky to have an excellent weather for 14 days. It did not rain on a single day.
- We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and we look forward to another holiday in 12 months time.

Our tour guide on the UK tour, Christina, gave us lots of English history and also the background to many songs and nursery rhymes. So this ode was set to the tune of ‘Molly Malone’ of Dublin.
ODE TO GLOBUS GK 0612
CHORUS: Christina and Mick, Christina and Mick,
Our tour guide and driver, Christina and Mick
The palace at Hampton, on way out of London
Great gardens and grapevine still growing today
From docklands of Bristol to Waterford crystal
Strangers, tourists with GK tour soon underway.
CHORUS
To Dublin, fair city, through Ireland so pretty
A highlight for all on the tour of Britain.
Through streets broad and narrow, determined to travel
Throughout England and Ireland to Wales and Scotland.
CHORUS
It rained Wales and England, umbrellas in Ireland
But fine on the ferry and catamaran.
Spent time in Killarney, kissed wet stone in Blarney,
We bought crystal and jewell’ry and souvenirs grand.
CHORUS
In Wales a strange language, Christina still managed
To practise and recite the longest named town.
We wished for a Guinness or hot Irish whiskey
To help swallow that haggis and get the stuff down.
CHORUS
We looked at Britannia, the castle at Edinburgh.
A quick photo stop or a short local walk.
Had songs and bagpipers, reels, ballet, and
dancers.
We saw cities and quaint towns like Chester and York.
CHORUS
O yes we’ll remember the ‘Irish man fencer’,
Christina’s tall tales, clotted cream, and
those ‘SCONES’ [as in bones]
Her ‘cock’n’bull’ stories, ‘no problems’, and
Gypsies,
But for now, it’s goodbye as we head for our
homes.
CHORUS "
