Welcome to Calgary! At 6 pm, meet your travelling companions for a welcome drink. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming Canadian Rockies adventure.
This morning, enjoy an orientation tour of Calgary before heading to Lake Louise. Take a leisurely GUIDED WALK along the lake and hear about the area's first settlers, some of the unique characters, and the history of this incredible setting. The rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy a canoe excursion, stroll along the lake, or just relax at this historic Canadian resort. (B,D)
SPECIAL FEATURE: Your hotel tonight is the famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. LAKE LOUISE-COLUMBIA ICEFIELD-JASPER.
Head north on Icefields Parkway to savour stunning vistas of alpine meadows, waterfalls, and glaciers. We'll stop at Peyto Lake, considered the best view in Canada and among the best in the world. Next, a trip highlight: the Columbia Icefield for a memorable ride on an ICE EXPLORER. Stand on 366 metres (1,200 feet) of ice and come face to face with the glaciers that feed into a Triple Continental Divide. On to JASPER NATIONAL PARK. (B,D)

This morning, CRUISE on Maligne Lake. The balance of the day is at leisure, so enjoy your resort. Pamper yourself with a spa treatment or stroll the streets of Jasper with its array of specialty stores. (B)
JASPER-YOHO NATIONAL PARK-BANFF.
This morning, we stop at thundering Athabasca Falls before continuing our sightseeing with visits to BANFF and YOHO NATIONAL PARK. See the Natural Bridge spanning Kicking Horse River and Emerald Lake. Arrive in Banff, with the balance of the day at leisure. (B)

This morning, board the ROCKY MOUNTAINEER and travel over the Continental Divide and along the Kicking Horse River. Westward to Shushwap Lake with its thousand miles of shoreline, then overnight in Kamloops. Tonight, enjoy free time in Kamloops. (B,L)

Back aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, your journey passes through the fertile Thompson Valley and the Fraser Canyon. This afternoon, arrive in Vancouver, where you'll be transferred to your hotel for a 2-night stay. (B,L)
